 What are self adhesive tapes?

Self adhesive tape is a distinct category of adhesive tapes (dry form) that is tacky at room temperature and firmly adhere to a variety of dissimilar surfaces upon mere contact requiring no more than finer or hand pressure. Self adhesive tapes require no activation by water, solvent or heat to exert a strong adhesive force towards materials such s paper, glass, wood, and metal.
